A time intensive task, properly nurturing and training a new puppy can be quite problematic. The difficulties can be exacerbated when the new addition has a debilitating illness or shortened lifetime. With golden retrievers being a most frequently owned dog breed in the U. S., usually there are more instances of their litters having diseases, defects, or deformities. One of the most usual illnesses seen is hip dysplasia. The difficulty of inexperienced owner attempting to nurture a puppy, not to mention the rise in health problems, means that there are a higher number of abandoned dogs. This increase in abandonment has led to a greater amount of dogs ready to adopted out by rescue group ultimately for golden retriever adoption.

Have you just got yourself a new dog that is a little older? Have you gone and got it from the pound, or bought it off someone else? If this is the case, then it might well be that you have to housebreak the dog yourself. Commonly when a new dog comes to a new house, they will use the toilet inside the house.
