the black, long haired dog you see is likely a golden/labrador mix. both golden retrievers and labrador retrievers are some of the nicest and gentle dogs on the planet. my golden has never been mean to any person she has met. she’s the best dog i’ve ever had.

LABS RULE! I love my Labrador puppy. He is a quick learner, energetic, and entertaining. He is my best friend. I have nothing against Golden Retrievers, though. =)
I have a Golden Retriever named Ridge and he is 8 years old(Human Years), he is the best dog you could ever get, I thought LABS were better until my mom said goldens are better(She Bred them)guess what they are! If you ever get a golden, trust me your gonna love him/her.

Hi, I’m getting a puppy this summer and I’m under pressure as I have to choose between these two GORGEOUS breeds! Which one? Which one? Well…I do have a few questions…
1) Which is more likely to guard your house? lab or golden?
2) Which sheds more? I have heard that they both shed equal amounts of fur.
3) I am a beginner. Which would be better for me?
4) I will need to be fairly active in the summer for personal reasons so…
5) Finally which is more prone to separation anxiety?

i Had 2 labs the second one we gave away back to the breeder…… we still have the first i would say get a lab just my opinion but they are short haired and the best ever…..
Golden are more beautiful than labs for me but they need alot of cares and attention ill say labrador is better
