Dog Treats- Never Use This Ingredient!

My big weakness… are those pleading sad eyes of my dog. As I enjoy my treat on a tasty snack, it becomes very hard not to feed my dog Sam with a tiny snack. Too bad, most of what seems to be of no harm like “people foods” which we have no problem with is very dangerous to the health of your innocent dog.

For a long time, dog experts share the same opinion, that table scraps could be poisonous if consumed by your dog. With a variety of tasty dog treats in the market to chose from one should take care not to use foods that could harm your pet. A good example is grapes.

Grapes are said to be harmful to the dog’s kidneys and can eventually cause death.

Though it is not known how many grapes are considered fatally toxic, as few as 5 grapes can be poisonous to a dog that weighs 20 pounds.

What are some indicators that your dog has consumed poison in grapes?

In a span of 24 hours, the following may be noticed, the dog may start vomiting, appear weak and have diarrhoea. At times these symptoms may even start within a few hours of eating the grapes. Your dog may urinate a lot less which is a sign of kidneys failing.

What should you do now?

If you suspect that your dog has ingested any toxic substance, see your veterinarian immediately. It’s likely that the dog will be monitored carefully and will receive large doses of fluids until the symptoms subside.

You can avoid all this quite simply by not feeding your dog with people food! Discover instead a variety of tasty healthy treat(suitable for dogs). Not only are you giving your pet a dog treat but also protecting him with this healthy tasty snack too.
