Celebrate The Super Bowl in Style This Year

by Jim Witt on January 19, 2010

Every year millions of people gather together to celebrate the football showdown of the best 2 teams in the NFL. Fans love to watch the game together. With the Super Bowl only being weeks away, start planning your Super Bowl party now to be sure it is an event your friends will remember.

Almost everyone has gone to a Super Bowl party before. The usual routine is to sit around the TV, watch the game, and eat snacks. If you are getting bored with the usual routine, do something different and try something new this year.

Send out Super Bowl invitations. If you don’t want to wait until last minute waiting on the teams, send the invitation through email. Simply sending out an email or e-vite with the team colors on it is more exciting than getting a verbal invitation.

Be creative with your meal choices. Don’t simply have pizza, chips and dip. Do something fun, such as using recipes out of the Taste of NFL’s cookbook that is specifically made for Super Bowl Sunday.

Don’t forget to dress up your dog! Have him wear a sport’s dog collar with your favored team’s logo around his neck. It will definitely be a sure-fire hit with the party.

Play Super Bowl trivia with your family and friends before the game. This is a favorite past time for many people. You may be surprised just how much your friends and you know.

Play games during the Super Bowl to continue to make the party interesting. Take bets for how long the football game will be, or which team will win, etc. Also, for fun provide paper balls for friends to throw at the TV every time they are upset about a play or bad call.

Whatever games you decide, make sure you have awesome prizes for your friends. Again, if they have pets a festive football dog collar can be a great choice. Other good prizes are team jersey’s, Super Bowl mugs, a football, or a snack basket.

The Super Bowl is celebrated every year by millions of watchers. Fans of the NFL have fun watching the game together. Have your dog wear your favorite team’s logo around his neck with a specially designed dog collar. Jim Witt suggests purchasing a Handmade NFL Dog Collar from Country Brook Design.
